Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great location close to the city center, making the walk enjoyable with local pubs along the way. The rooms, although on the small side, are cozy with comfortable beds and a smart TV. The staff are exceptionally friendly and pleasant, providing a great service throughout our stay. However, the dining options were lacking, especially for vegetarians, and the location, although nice, is a bit off the beaten path and not very convenient for downtown activities.
Although the room was too warm despite the radiators being turned off, my stay was ideal for single occupancy with all the amenities, including an iron. The service, despite charging more money than agreed via Booking, was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, truly showcasing great Irish hospitality. The location, although not central, proved to be safe and convenient with various pubs and bus stops close by. The dining experience was satisfying with a great selection of food, particularly the cooked breakfast. Overall, a pleasant stay with minor room temperature issues.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the smell of smoke lingered from the past. The service was exceptional and accommodating, especially with an early morning driver. The location was convenient for reaching downtown Dublin quickly. However, the dining options were limited and a bit overpriced for what was offered.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were cozy and filled with amenities like tea and coffee, but the dated decor and fixed shower head made it uncomfortable. The service was pleasant and professional, but the dining was a bit overpriced for the quality. The location was lovely and convenient for exploring the city, although getting to Dublin required extra transportation. Overall, a decent stay with both positives and negatives.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, although not as spacious as depicted in the pictures, were cozy and had a quaint separate 'lobby' connecting to the bathroom. On the downside, being upstairs made them a bit hot. The service was exceptional, with incredibly kind and helpful staff who even accommodated our delayed check-out. The location was lovely, close to the Botanic National Gardens but with a musty smell in some areas. The dining offered a satisfying start with a variety of breakfast options, although the setup felt a bit disorganized. Overall, a stay with its ups and downs.
I absolutely adored my stay at this charming hotel! The rooms were really cute, clean, and cozy, offering a lovely view of the garden. Climbing the 4 flights of stairs to the attic might be a bit exhausting but believe me, it's worth it. The service was exceptional, with the staff being exceptionally friendly and hospitable, going above-and-beyond to make my stay memorable. The location was ideal, not too central but close enough to reach the city center easily. Plus, being close to the ferry port was a definite bonus. The dining experience was enjoyable with all the amenities available. Overall, a delightful stay!
The hotel was very clean and tidy, offering plenty of space. The rooms were well-maintained, and I appreciated the easy chair and luggage rack. The service was incredibly nice, and the owner took excellent care of us with great local recommendations. However, the dining experience was adequate, though it could have been nicer with muesli and fresh rolls. The location was convenient for getting to the city center, and the botanical gardens were close by. The facilities were satisfactory and priced competitively with local eateries.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean, warm, and cozy but a bit warm and not well-ventilated being all the way upstairs. The service was a bit of a letdown in terms of friendliness, although there were exceptional moments of extreme helpfulness. The location was convenient, with nearby shops, but some parts had a musty smell. The dining options were ample and served nicely, offering a choice from cereal to a full Irish breakfast. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with some areas for improvement.
I had a mixed experience during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, but there were a few things that needed attention. On the bright side, the service was exceptional thanks to the informative and helpful staff. The location was in a nice and quiet neighborhood, although a bit far from the city center. Dining was satisfactory, but with room for improvement. Overall, a decent place with both positives and negatives to consider.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the Dublin Botanic Garden in a beautiful, quiet residential part of the city. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped, though the narrow stairway to the 4 beds may be a challenge. The service provided by Vera and Lisa is lovely and accommodating, helping with local recommendations and planning activities. The dining experience, while fairly poor, is redeemed by the helpful and friendly staff. The facilities are adequate with room for improvement.
The hotel had clean and well-equipped rooms, though a bit small for two adults. The service was lovely and accommodating, making our stay pleasant. The location was particularly convenient for visiting the Botanic Gardens or attending courses at The Teagasce Amenity Horticultural College. The dining experience was amazing, offering globally inspired dishes. Overall, a cozy stay with some minor room size issues.
